Larson Tool & Stamping Company’s Safety Program dates back many years with the start of the Safety Committee in the 1950’s. Over the years, representatives from Larson have been involved with national committees and the Precision Metalforming Committee on the development of safety and health programs.
Recent records show a steady reduction of lost time injuries from seven in the early 1990’s to zero in the past three years.
On September 9, 1997 Larson became one of the few companies in Massachusetts to attain certification in the OSHA Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program, through the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety, and we have maintained this certification through yearly third party audits of our safety policies and programs and the dedication of all of our employees. Each knows that the success of this program affects each one of them in a very personal way. For our customers, it is indicative of the way we do business at Larson.
